Welcome to Unique Song. Every Unique Song starts with something deeply personal — a name, a shared memory, a milestone, or the story behind a custom song gift for someone you love. Because you trust us with those details, protecting your information is central to how we operate, not an afterthought. This policy explains what we collect when you order a custom song gift or personalised song through Unique Song, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us when you:

  • Order a Unique Song — your name, email address, phone number, optional Telegram handle, and the recipient details, memories, occasion, genre, and mood preferences you share so our musicians can write and produce your personalised song. When the order is a custom song gift, this may also include the name, relationship, and details of the person you are giving the song to.
  • Request a revision — any notes, corrected spellings, or feedback you send us so we can adjust your Unique Song to match what you had in mind.
  • Contact us via our contact form — your name, email, and message.
  • Make a payment — billing information processed securely by our payment provider (we do not store card numbers).
  • Leave a review or testimonial — your name, country, occasion, and the words you choose to share, which we may feature on our website with your permission.

We also automatically collect certain technical information including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring website — used solely for security and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Write, record, and produce your Unique Song or custom song gift, passing your story only to the musicians and producers working on your specific order.
  • Send order confirmations, delivery timelines, revision updates, and the finished song file (typically MP3, WAV, or FLAC depending on your package) to you — and, where you have requested it, to deliver a custom song gift notification directly to the recipient.
  • Respond to your questions and support requests.
  • Improve our songwriting process, sample library, and website experience.
  • Comply with applicable laws and prevent fraud.

We do not use the personal story you share — whether for your own Unique Song or as part of a custom song gift for someone else — for any purpose beyond producing and delivering that order. We do not sell it, publish it, or use it to train any third-party tool without your separate, explicit permission.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share it only with:

  • Our songwriters and musicians — the story, preferences, and recipient details you submit for your Unique Song or custom song gift, shared only as needed to write, record, and produce the song.
  • Payment processors — to complete your transaction securely.
  • Service providers — such as email delivery and audio file hosting services, who assist us in operating our business and delivering your completed song.
  • Legal authorities — when required by law or to protect our rights and your safety.

When your order is a custom song gift, we treat the recipient's name and personal details with the same care as your own information — they are used solely to write and deliver the song and are never shared beyond that purpose.

4. Cookies

We use cookies to improve your experience on the Unique Song website. These include:

  • Essential cookies — required for the website to function (e.g. session, security).
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect some features of the site.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers. Payment information is handled by PCI-compliant third-party processors and is never stored on our servers.

The story details, recipient information, and audio files behind your Unique Song or custom song gift — including your brief and the delivered audio — are stored on secure, access-controlled systems and kept only as long as needed to produce your order, handle revisions, and meet our support and legal obligations.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for any accounts.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you, including any story details or recipient information submitted as part of a Unique Song or custom song gift order.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations and any delivered order records we must retain).
  • Ask us to remove a testimonial or review featuring your Unique Song story from our website.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@unique-songs.com.
